On October 24, 2024, the AFID project team held a nationwide promotional event dedicated to the Virtual Inclusive Campus (VIC). During the meeting, the project team members presented the courses that will be offered to students at VIC using modern digital tools. It is worth mentioning that the target audience of the campus is individuals with various abilities and needs, as well as students and adults who seek to develop professional competencies. During the meeting, course authors discussed the course ideas, structure, thematic content and learning outcomes. At the same time, presenters outlined the courses' highlights and practical nature.
More than 150 participants from all over Ukraine attended this event. In addition, during the meeting, the academic staff shared their experience of delivering courses using digital inclusive tools. The project team explained the procedures for enrolling in courses at VIC and answered questions from potential VIC participants.
At this stage of project implementation, courses at VIC are open for registration of participants from higher education institutions implementing the project, in particular, State University of Trade and Economics, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, Dnipro University of Technology. Along with the project, the team is working to ensure that VIC will open its doors to everyone in the future.
