Presentation of the results of the AFID project at the Lviv Polytechnic National University

On September 12, 2025, a dissemination seminar was held to present the results of the project “Ensuring Academic Freedom and Inclusion through Digitalisation” (AFID) at the Lviv Polytechnic National University. During the event, university staff were informed about the key achievements of the project consortium, and future steps and directions for expanding collaboration with higher education institutions across Ukraine were outlined.

The project team from the National University of Lviv Polytechnic paid special attention to the results of the pilot training in the Multi-Institutional Inclusive Virtual Campus (VIC), created as part of this project. Attendees learned that from January to June 2025, 368 students from all over Ukraine studied at the Campus. Notably, students enrolled in VIC courses provided positive feedback regarding the content of the disciplines, the convenience of digital tools, and the opportunity to develop their skills in an international academic environment. The feedback received, along with genuine interest from Ukrainian higher education institutions, prompted the start of the second stage of piloting, set to begin in late September 2025, involving students from the State University of Trade and Economics, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, Dnipro University of Technology, and Sumy National Agrarian University.

The presentation of the project results at the Lviv Polytechnic National University served as an important platform for discussing how to integrate learning outcomes obtained at the Campus into individual educational pathways. It also outlined the next steps for incorporating inclusive digital solutions into the educational process and sharing best practices within the academic community.
