FIRST TRAINING ON DIGITAL INCLUSION

Digital inclusion is becoming increasingly important in the modern world and Ukrainian society in particular. It involves providing access to digital technologies and services to all members of society, including people with disabilities and representatives of different social groups.  Digital inclusion is also aimed at creating a comfortable and equal environment for work and study, both in business and education.

Under the Erasmus+ project “Providing Academic Freedom and Inclusion through Digitalization” (AFID) and in order to develop skills to to set up and work in an effective inclusive work environment using the capacities of the Virtual Inclusive Campus (VIC), a training for students “MS Teams and VIC: Synergy of Efficiency and Inclusion in Education and Business” was held on October 21-23, 2024 at the State University of Trade and Economics (Kyiv).

284 students took an active part in this event during three days of the training and mastered the opportunities provided by the Virtual Inclusive Campus and the updated version of MS Teams. The participants of the training mastered the skills of both general and special features of MS Teams, such as: inclusive account setup, organization of team and individual work, inclusive collaboration in chats and hybrid meetings (translation, transcription, dynamic subtitles), etc.

We thank the training participants for their involvement and willingness to acquire new knowledge and digital skills.
