On July 5, 2023, the project team of Lviv Polytechnic National University presented the main goals and current results of the Erasmus+ KA 2 project "Providing
of Academic Freedom and Inclusion through Digitalization" (AFID) (101081850 - AFID - ERASMUS-EDU-2022-CBHE) to the university management.
The rector of the Lviv Polytechnic National University, prof. Yuriy Bobalo vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work and international relations, prof. Nataliya Chuhray and director of the Institute of Economics and Management prof. Oleg Kuzmin was informed about the strategy and concept of creating a multi-institutional
inclusive virtual campus (MIIVC). The main goal of it is to provide users with diverse abilities with online courses aimed at developing competencies in the field of entrepreneurship.
The creation of this campus involves the cooperation of experienced EU partners from Sweden, Portugal, and Spain with partners from Ukraine (State University of Trade and Economics, Lviv Polytechnic National University, Semyon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, Dnipro University of Technology, and NGO “Civic Synergy”). Project HEIs will create MIIVC, develop inter-university agreements and internal policies of the organization, provision, and quality assurance of digital education through MIIVC, introduce inclusive online courses, and pilot inclusive digital education in the field of entrepreneurship. It is important to note that the implementation of the mentioned project will also make it possible to maintain and develop a digital innovative educational environment in the long term, to implement virtual mobility of students and teachers, and to exchange the best educational practices both between Ukrainian HEIs and European partners.
The presentation of the AFID project to the university management was carried out using the equipment purchased with the project funds. The purchased equipment will
contribute to the achievement of the set goals of the project.
