On December 19, 2024, Iryna Zolotaryova, Professor at the Department of Information Systems of Simon Kuznets Kharkiv National University of Economics, member of the National Team of Higher Education Reform Experts (HERE), participated in the seminar “Development of an inclusive educational environment based on a student-centred approach” organized within the Technical Assistance Mission (TAM) of the EU Erasmus+ Program in Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, with the support of SPHERE and the EC Executive Agency for Education and Culture.
During the seminar, prof. Iryna Zolotaryova delivered the presentation entitled “Creating a Digital Inclusive Educational Environment in a Higher Education Institution”. She emphasised on the concept, capabilities and tools offered by the Virtual Inclusive Campus (VIC). In particular, the main ideas and principles that reflect modern approaches to creating inclusive educational content, building individual educational trajectories based on a student-centred approach, and choosing appropriate digital tools to ensure inclusive learning were brought to the attention of those present.
This event gathered over 150 participants from HEIs, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, HEREs and students to discuss strategies inspired by the Tirana Communiqué and other key documents of the European Higher Education Area.
